Junior Academy Educational Assistant

My name is Tina Jones, and I am excited to be a Junior Academy assistant teacher at Tanbridge Academy. It is truly an honor to spend my days working with such bright, energetic children, and I am eagerly looking forward to an incredible journey of fun, growth, and learning with them throughout the year.

Nine years ago, I obtained my Early Childhood Level 1 certification, and since then, I have been dedicated to working with children in both one-on-one and classroom settings. From my very first day in this field, I knew that early childhood education was my true calling. I feel fortunate to have the opportunity to help shape young minds, fostering their curiosity, creativity, and social skills. These years of working with children have been the absolute highlight of my career, and I am passionate about making a positive impact in each child's life, helping them grow academically and emotionally.

At Tanbridge Academy, I am excited to be part of a community that values both education and the development of well-rounded individuals. I believe in the importance of creating a nurturing and supportive classroom environment where students feel comfortable exploring new ideas and expressing themselves.

Outside of school, I love spending quality time with my family. During the summer months, you’ll often find me boating on the lake with my husband and our two children, soaking up the sunshine and enjoying nature. In the winter, we have a tradition of going ice fishing, a peaceful and fun activity that our whole family enjoys. Whether it's summer or winter, I cherish these moments, as they offer a wonderful balance to my rewarding career.
