School Uniforms
For many students, clothing can be a major source of stress. Not having certain brand-name clothing or not wearing fashionable items could lead to feelings of insecurity. We believe having a school uniform brings our community together. We find our students are better able to concentrate and have shown improved discipline and academic performance. At Tanbridge, we also believe kids should have an opportunity in a safe community environment to express themselves through their clothing choices. We have mandatory uniforms Monday through Thursday, allowing our students to have casual wear on Fridays.

FAQ
Uniform Violations
Any uniform violations will be dealt with immediately, and parents will be informed of the student uniform infraction. Parents will be contacted through e-mail or phone call if the uniform worn by the student is incomplete or inappropriate, and students who are non-compliant will not be permitted to attend classes.
Are there any clothing restrictions for casual Fridays?
No flip flops, no tank tops or crop shirts, dresses and shorts need to be no more than two inches above the knee.
