Roselle Gotzke

Bus Driver

At 22, Roselle began her career as a school bus driver, dedicating the next 43 years to transporting students safely and reliably. Over the years, she has worked with several organizations, including Southland, First Student, Calgary Christian School, Third Academy, and now, Tanbridge. For Roselle, driving a school bus has been more than just a job—it has been a way to connect with children and make a positive impact on their lives. During her 30s, Roselle took a brief break from busing to explore a different career path, selling office furniture.

Roselle was married to her high school sweetheart for 40 years until his passing in 2017. Together, they raised three daughters, all now married, and she is the proud grandmother of six grandchildren, whose ages range from 2 to 25. Her passion for working with children began with teaching Sunday school at her church. When her husband became a pastor in 1995, her role naturally expanded from working with children to supporting families within the congregation, a calling she found deeply rewarding.

Outside of Roselle's professional and family life, she enjoys immersing herself in nature. Hiking in the beautiful mountains is one of her favourite ways to relax and recharge. She also loves travelling in her RV, embracing the freedom to explore new places and meet new people along the way. Life, with all its twists and turns, has been an adventure she cherishes. Through every season, she has learned to find joy, gratitude, and meaning in each experience.
