Dean's career has spanned decades. Beginning in the mailroom at the Royal Bank of Canada in Winnipeg in 1977, Dean quickly advanced to manage several departments in the RBC regional data centers there and in Regina. In 1997, a transfer took him to Calgary, where he later joined ADP Canada and eventually became a Lead Application Developer.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Dean is deeply committed to his community. As a dedicated volunteer, he supported his children’s education by serving as President of the Calgary Academy Parents Association for eight years and on the Academy’s board for nearly twelve. His leadership of the CAPA bursary program provided educational opportunities for hundreds of students.

Dean joined the Tanbridge board in 2017 and has been a valuable contributor. He is passionate about education and supports various learning options. Currently serving as secretary of the Bingo Alberta board, he supports over 700 charities across the province.

Married for 37 years, Dean and his wife are proud parents of two adult children.
