Trey Felesky

Trey Felesky holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Mount Royal University and a Bachelor of Education from Ambrose University. While he began his career in the business world, it was through coaching middle school basketball that he discovered his true passion: working with youth. Building relationships, fostering confidence, and supporting student growth both on and off the court led him to pursue a career in education.

During his teacher training, Trey worked with students from Grades 5 to 9 in a range of classroom settings, including a placement at Westmount Charter School. There, he developed a love for creative, responsive teaching that supports diverse learners and encourages deep, real-world connections. He is especially passionate about designing engaging projects that give students a sense of purpose and agency.

Trey brings a strong coaching background to Tanbridge Academy, having led both boys’ and girls’ junior high volleyball and basketball teams. He sees athletics as a powerful avenue for teaching leadership, teamwork, and resilience. His business experience also supports his strong communication and organization skills in the classroom.

He is committed to helping students discover who they are as learners and people. Trey values curiosity, creativity, and connection, and strives to create a classroom where every student feels seen and supported.

Outside of school, he enjoys traveling, mountain hikes, road trips, live music, and recreational sports. He’s excited to be part of the Tanbridge Academy community and looks forward to growing alongside his students and colleagues.
