Jennifer Woodworth

Educational Assistant

My name is Jennifer Woodworth, and I started at Tanbridge Academy in October of 2023 as a support educator in the grade one class. I received my diploma in early learning from Mount Royal University in 2011 and have been working in early education for the past 14 years in a variety of different settings. The highlight of my career has been assisting in the start-up and development of an enhanced kindergarten program, which beautifully balances academics and physical activity.

In 2017, I went back to university to pursue my love for the environment and the sciences. While in school, I had the privilege of spending some time overseas in Italy and Greece, studying different environmental, geographical and cultural influences. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Geography in 2021.

I enjoy spending time with friends and family or being outdoors, camping, hiking, and horseback riding. In the evenings, I like to hang out with my dog, Abby, read books and watch movies.

I am so excited about joining the Tanbridge team. Despite my short time here, I can feel the sense of community and the passion that all the staff have for teaching. I am looking forward to being a part of this team and bringing my experience and knowledge to support the students of Tanbridge.
