Josh Hart, B.Kin., B.Ed., M.Ed.
Vice Principal
Athletic Director

Mr. Hart graduated in 2005 from the University of Calgary with degrees in Kinesiology and Education. He recently completed his M.Ed. degree at the U of C with an Educational Technology specialization in June 2009. Outside of school, Mr. Hart has coached community hockey for nine seasons, and worked at a residential sports camp in California for seven summers. At Tanbridge Academy, in addition to teaching Grade 6, he works as the Athletic Director, organizing Tanbridge Academy’s school participation in Junior High sports within the Calgary Independent Schools Athletic Association. Mr. Hart enjoys spending time on the ice during the occasional hockey session as an extra goalie for his students to shoot at (but very rarely score on).

Nadine Robinson, B.Ed.
Junior High Teacher

Raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Mrs. Robinson received her Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Manitoba. During the next sixteen years, she lived in Grande Prairie, Alberta, where she taught grades four to nine in a variety of schools. In 2010, she moved to Calgary with her husband and two sons. Working with students to help each one become successful in their academic career is truly a passion for Ms. Robinson. In her spare time, you will find her at the rink, ball diamond, or golf course enjoying time with her children while passing on her love of sports.

Megan Blackey, B.Ed.
Junior High Teacher

Growing up just outside Victoria B.C., Miss Blackey graduated with a Bachelor of Education from the University of Victoria. She grew up learning the importance of teamwork and dedication to both sport and school, playing competitive volleyball, basketball, and softball for many years. After graduating from UVic, Miss Blackey combined her love of travel with teaching as she accepted a teaching position at an international school in China. From there, she chose to continue the adventure, moving up north to Churchill, Manitoba and teaching in another new and challenging environment. Miss Blackey then found herself in Calgary, and taught for two years in the North East, teaching Junior High Language Arts. She is so excited to now be a part of the Tanbridge community where she can not only share her passion for Language Arts, but also for athletics.

Kathleen Rhine, B.Sc., B.Ed.
Junior High Teacher

A born and raised Calgarian, Ms. Rhine holds two degrees from the University of Calgary; a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and also a Bachelor of Education.  Always having been a student athlete herself, Kathleen played soccer, volleyball, and basketball while growing up.  A highlight of her athletic career was being a member of the UofC Dinos Women’s Soccer Team.  Ms. Rhine believes that athletics teaches students the benefits of hard work, skills to work as a team, and the confidence needed for success.  She has had the opportunity to also see sport from a coach’s perspective having coached volleyball and run training sessions with minor soccer teams.  Ms. Rhine is passionate about mathematics and tries to build a solid mathematical understanding and foundation in her students.  She is excited to be joining the Tanbridge team for the 2012-2013 school year and looks forward to having a fun year with a talented group of students!
